# Event Overview

The Event overview page can be accessed via the **Event->Overview** menu item. This page serves as a general overview of the Current Active Event, including a summary, description, timer, calendar, and the amount of StackCash remaining for distribution to teams.

A general overview of the Current Active Event can also be accessed at any time via [the calendar icon in the dashboard's top toolbar](/getting-started/dashboard-overview.md#event-details). Clicking the "View Event" button will bring you to the Event overview page.
